If a song only occurs in specific map sets, there will be letters preceding the world number: If it's set to "Map", it just plays when you're in the right area. If the music set is set to "Character", it plays only when the music from the character's skin matches the music from the map skin and when the player is in the right place. If a soundtrack has an "Extra" entry, that means that a skin has a theme that has its own song that does not appear when using different skins with the same music. If the title and character select themes are missing, that simply means the game doesn't have a map skin. If certain songs are missing from games without map skins, it defaults to the map skin's theme. Crossover uses a variety of video game soundtracks from the games the characters come from.
